My mother experienced severe pain in her stomach.
Just like anyone I started looking online for a specialist and came across Dr. Vivek Shetty.
I remember being extremely vulnerable the first time when I called Dr. Vivek Shetty's number displayed online as I was in the impression that some receptionist will answer and tell me that the latest appointment is available after 15days or more.
However, I was suprised that the phone was picked up by Dr. Vivek Shetty himself and once Dr. Shetty heard my mother's condition he very graciously gave me an appointment for the same evening.
Upon meeting Dr. Shetty he gave us more than enough time to listen to my mother's medical history point by point calmly and after seing the ultrasound report and examining my mother he gave his precise diagnosis.
Dr. Shetty immediatley suggested that my mother needs to undergo a surgery as she had two very big size stones in her gallbladder and they were needed to be removed.
Like any other person we were scared thinking of "Surgery" and wanted to delay it.
But looking at my mother's condition
Dr. Shetty insisted surgery and gave us confidence that my mother is in safe hands so we made up our mind and got ready.
Dr. Shetty on priority basis organised every thing for the next evening at Jaslok Hospital.
With the grace of God everything went of well and my mother came back home happy within 4 days.
